  • An adult must always be present around the pool. It is also advisable to take a first aid course.
  • Surround the pool with a fence high enough to restrain small children.
  • Never leave a child unattended in a pool or near water.
  • Teach your children to swim as soon as possible.
  • Equip your pool gate with a closing device so that it closes and locks automatically.
  • Keep rescue equipment and a first aid kit close to the pool.
  • Always have a long pole and a buoy close to the pool.
  • Avoid running and pushing around the pool.
  • Install a safety device (alarm) in case someone accidentally falls into the pool.
  • Keep glass or fragile objects away from the pool.
  • When bathing, completely remove the solar blanket so no one gets stuck underneath.
